Under the Hood: A Peek into Happy Destiny Press’s Current Projects

Good morning: this is an update on what is happening at Happy Destiny Press and the world of the4thdimension.ca.

We have wrapped up the series on Forgiveness. The comments and feedback have been terrific. It was well-received, and many of you have forwarded the blogs to others. Thanks for the endorsement.

Forwarding the blogs is the highest compliment you could give, and we appreciate it. The purpose of Happy Destiny Press and the4thdimension.ca website is “to engender and enhance spiritual growth.” We hope that we are contributing to this goal, forwarding the blogs sure helps. It is a small part of carrying a message.

While we are on the subject of forgiving., here is the link to the Forgiveness App, in case you missed it the first time.

Many have commented on its utility and have admitted to using it frequently. I am using it almost daily. It has been a great addition to my phone.

This week we will return to the usual blog format. But the series idea was so well-received that I am planning future series. The next blog series will be a series on Self-Forgiveness. That is a large enough topic that a separate series is warranted. Then we will have a series on Sponsorship and another series on Inventories.

What else is going on under the hood? I am working on a book for treatment center graduates. In the Rooms of AA, we see more and more treatment center graduates. These graduates are different from other newcomers to our Fellowship. They have worked the Steps in treatment and may have experienced AA meetings in the town of the treatment center. They have had hours of group and individual counselling. They arrive at AA half-baked. Our job is to help them finish baking and help them with Recovery, which follows Treatment.

The new book is exciting. It is opening up new thoughts and approaches for me, and I am fortunate to be working with some of Canada’s leading treatment centers to develop this book.

I am also working on a revised edition of my first book, GEMS. I will edit it and submit it to the designer to prepare a second edition in the same design and format as Still More GEMS. The new design was so well-received that a new edition of GEMS is in order, and later, a second edition of More GEMS as well.

So a lot is going on in my life. And all of it is good.
